FRED EDMONDSON MEMORIAL TROPHY (SHOOTOUT)

Fred Edmondson / The Sundance Kid regularly competed in Quickdraw shootouts with both Western Express and The Davy Crocket Club until he died on 27th September 2007

For the 1st Anniversary of his death, his wife Jean donated a trophy for gunmen to compete for twice a year on the night nearest to the anniversary of his death and on the night nearest to his birthday in February. This is the Fred Edmondson AKA The Sundance Kid Trophy.

The first winner of this trophy on 26th September 2008 was Desperado (John Thwaite) from Kendal. The second winner was McGraw (Brian Bowran) on 27th February 2009
